Professionals with a limited time budget and do not require an internationally acknowledged may opt for the shorter and intensive diploma course

 
course content

The course menu is identical with the first year of the Master of Science course, including course numbers 1.1 to 2.10
duration

The nine month’s course requires 7 month’s presence in Germany during term time (excluding 2 months break during after the first 4 months). The course may be joined in April and October each year.
deploma

Successful participants will be awarded the Diploma of International Urban Studies from the University of Darmstadt.
eligibility Eligibility criteria are the same as for the master’s course option, except that only successful completions of a four years previous university course and only 6 months of professional experience are required.
cost

The cost of the diploma course is Euro 5,000, payable at once at inscription.
